Our latest SMS HUB session was filled with mystery, laughter, and plenty of suspense as young people came together online to play an exciting game of Werewolf.
From the very beginning, no one knew who they could trust. Secret roles were assigned, alliances were formed, and every decision mattered as the village worked together to uncover the werewolves hiding in plain sight.
Welcome to the Village
As the game began, everyone took on a secret role. Some were ordinary villagers trying to protect their community, while a few were secretly werewolves, blending in and trying to avoid suspicion.
With each round, the mystery deepened as players discussed clues, shared theories, and voted on who they believed was hiding a secret. Every decision led to new surprises, making it impossible to know who was telling the truth.
Working Together
One of the best parts of the session was seeing how quickly the young people worked together. They listened carefully to each other’s ideas, noticed small details, and built confidence in sharing their own thoughts and opinions.
As the game unfolded, participants demonstrated fantastic teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills while enjoying plenty of laughs along the way. Even those who were quieter at the start of the session became more involved as the mystery developed.
The game encouraged everyone to think critically, explain their reasoning, and respectfully challenge each other’s ideas, all while having fun.
Plot Twists and Plenty of Laughter
No game of Werewolf would be complete without unexpected twists, and this session certainly didn’t disappoint. Just when the villagers thought they had identified the werewolves, new revelations changed everything.
There were moments of surprise, dramatic accusations, clever bluffing, and lots of laughter as players tried to outsmart one another.
Whether someone successfully fooled the entire village or correctly uncovered a werewolf at the last minute, every round kept everyone engaged until the very end.
Building Confidence Through Play
Although the evening was full of mystery and excitement, it also highlighted the important skills young people develop through the SMS HUB.
Activities like Werewolf help to build:
- Confidence in speaking and sharing ideas
- Active listening and communication
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Critical thinking and decision making
- Resilience and adaptability
Most importantly, the session gave young people another opportunity to connect with one another in a safe, welcoming environment where everyone could have fun and be themselves.
Another Fantastic HUB Session
Our Werewolf session showed just how powerful games can be in bringing young people together. Through teamwork, creativity, and a healthy dose of mystery, everyone played an important part in making the evening such a success.
We loved seeing friendships continue to grow, confidence shine through, and so many smiling faces throughout the session.
