Today we are joined by our amazing Ambassador, Rory Crawford. Rory is best known as a children’s television presenter on the Cbeebies channel, and for his important environmental conservation work with the RSPB charity. Rory demonstrates his excellent storytelling skills as he reads Patricia Hegarty’s wonderful story, ‘Everybody’s Welcome’ (published by Caterpillar Books).
This month we have been counting down the days until Christmas with Bear, the Children’s Health Scotland mascot, in #BearsC2C. Each day we have been sharing advice and knowledge about children’s healthcare rights and how our supporters can look after their own health and wellbeing, as well as that of the children and young people that they support.
‘Everybody’s Welcome’ is a really important story to share, particularly during this Festive period, as it shows the importance of everyone working together, no matter who you are, to achieve great things. As Rory says in the video, “I know we have all been spending a lot of time at home just now, but, this is a lovely wee reminder that home is an important place, and of course, that everyone is welcome”.
So make sure you watch this latest #StoryWithRory and please do head over to our Facebook page and give the video a Like to show your support for Rory, Bear and the whole team at Children’s Health Scotland!
