New report highlights concerns on health and living standards in Scotland
The Health and Social Care Alliance (the ALLIANCE) has highlighted the publication of a report by the Scottish Health Equity Research Unit (SHERU) which looks at health and socioeconomic divides in Scotland. Key findings from the report suggests that core outcomes related to inequalities and health are not improving significantly and some are getting worse.
Social media safety for young people
A national campaign to support young people to safely navigate social media and prevent violence has been launched. ‘Quit Fighting For Likes’ aims to get young people to think about and discuss attitudes and behaviours around the filming and sharing of violent incidents.
