Nominations are now closed for 2020 and winners will be announced during Scottish Children’s Health Week.
Health-related play is more than just a chance to have fun – it is a serious business when it comes to children’s health and wellbeing. It can help children physically, mentally and emotionally and is an essential part of treatment that can help to speed up recovery either in hospital or at home.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone special, or perhaps a special team, who has made a significance difference to a child’s life through health-related play. This difference could have been achieved in school, at hospital or in the community.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a nominee/team who has:
- Promoted the significance of health-related play in hospitals, schools or community settings.
- Been an advocate for health-related play – someone who has shown enthusiasm, commitment, encouragement and outstanding support.
- Delivered outstanding work with regards to health-related play.
Individuals or teams.
