Workshop facilitated by Tom Kitching, LEGO® Serious Play® Facilitator
This creative and interactive workshop invites children, young people, and parents/carers to explore children’s health rights through hands‑on LEGO® building. Guided by a certified LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator, participants will work together to build models, share ideas, and reflect on what the right to health means in real life. The session supports meaningful conversations about access, dignity, and participation in healthcare in a fun, inclusive, and practical way. No LEGO® experience is needed — just curiosity and imagination. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of health rights and new ways to express their voice, ideas, and experiences through play.
ABOUT LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® began as an experiential process designed for use in guided workshops with adults to prompt dialogue and encourage reflection, as well as develop problem-solving skills and use of the imagination. However, SERIOUS PLAY® sets such as the Starter Kit are also suitable for building critical thinking skills in kids aged 6+. Each set is designed to enhance different skills, such as reflection and dialogue. This innovative approach to interaction is a valuable asset in business as well as education and helps participants open up through the approachable medium of play.
