Workshop facilitated by Early Years Scotland
This warm, interactive workshop introduces the HENRY (Health, Exercise, Nutrition for the Really Young) approach, supporting parents, carers, and practitioners to build healthier habits at home with confidence and compassion. HENRY runs through greater Glasgow and Clyde and is tailored to support families in this community. They can also support professionals (including nurseries and schools.) Through hands–on activities and practical discussion, participants will explore positive feeding relationships, enjoyable mealtimes, emotional wellbeing, and small lifestyle changes that make a big difference. The session is inclusive, strengths–based, and non–judgemental, offering realistic strategies families can use straight away. Participants will leave with refreshed confidence, practical ideas, and supportive tools to nurture children’s health and wellbeing while building positive family routines.
ABOUT Early Years Scotland
Early Years Scotland is a registered charity, and Scotland’s leading national specialist organisation that supports our youngest children from pre-birth to 5 years of age.
Their fully qualified Family Engagement Practitioners work directly with children and their families to deliver their unique Stay Play and Learn sessions in a variety of settings. They work in areas where children and families who have the greatest need, will benefit most from their services.
As a Third Sector organisation, they have been established for over 50 years, supporting all of those who work for, and on behalf of, Scotland’s youngest children.
