🌈 Improving Life Experiences Award: Bob Fraser
Former Chief Executive, Craighalbert Centre
With over 40 years of service, Bob has shaped national policy and led life-changing work at the Craighalbert Centre. His legacy is one of compassion, innovation, and unwavering belief in what children with complex needs can achieve.
💛 Health and Wellbeing Award: Team Jak Foundation
Supporting children and families affected by cancer and bereavement
From Jak’s Den HQ to pop-up Dens across Scotland, Team Jak creates joyful, healing spaces. Their 10-year journey is a testament to the power of love, community, and the vision of one extraordinary young person – Jak.
🛡️ Healthcare Rights Award: Niamh McGregor
Health Rights Defender and Young Volunteer
Niamh turned her own health challenges into advocacy, helping others through creative projects and peer support. Her voice is helping shape a more inclusive healthcare system – and her courage is inspiring a movement.
🌟 Children’s Bravery Award: Jessica Miller
Young Artist and Advocate
Living with intestinal dysmotility, Jessica has shown remarkable strength and resilience. Through art, she found healing and now uses her creativity to raise awareness and support others. Her bravery is a beacon of hope.
🌱 Young Achiever Award: Eilidh Haughey
Student, Teacher, Writer, and Volunteer
Eilidh’s journey – shaped by dyspraxia and caring for her brother – is one of determination and heart. Now studying Primary Education, she’s empowering children through teaching, outdoor learning, and storytelling. Her future is bright, and her impact already profound.
🏅 Lifetime Achievement Award: Dr Una MacFadyen
Paediatrician, Advocate, and Leader
Dr MacFadyen’s career has transformed children’s healthcare across Scotland. From neonatal care to national policy, her work has always centred families, compassion, and innovation. Her legacy lives on in every child she’s helped and every system she’s improved.
