Tuesday is all about courage—trying new things, asking questions, and believing in yourself. Let’s explore what it means to #BeBrave!
🦸 Tuesday | #BeBrave
Being brave doesn’t always mean being fearless. Sometimes, it’s about trying something new, asking a question, or standing up for yourself or others. Bravery helps us grow in confidence and feel proud of who we are. Today’s activities are all about building courage in fun and creative ways.
🌟 Tuesday Activities
⏱ 5 Seconds to Brave
When you feel nervous, try this simple trick: count slowly to five while taking deep breaths. Let yourself feel calm… and then brave!
🐻 Brave Bear Drawing
Draw a bear using simple shapes—start with a circle for the head, then add ears, a body, arms, and legs. Take a deep breath with each shape. No pen? No problem! Trace the shapes on your hand with your finger.
❓ Ask Questions
Bravery can be as simple as being curious. Think of three questions you could ask someone new or about something you don’t understand—and give it a go!
🦸♀️ You’re a Superhero!
This confidence-building activity is shared by our friends at Girlguiding Scotland, who support over 40,000 girls across the country every week.
Create your own Confidence Superhero Tool Belt:
- Write or draw four things that make you feel confident (e.g. something you’ve achieved, what you like about yourself, a fun memory with friends, or something that makes you laugh).
- Attach them to a string or ribbon to wear as your superhero belt.
- Add a blank tag and write something brave you did today!
