Welcome to Day 10 of Bear’s Advent Calendar! BBC Children in Need partly fund our Children and Young People’s Health and Wellbeing Service, so when they got in touch to ask if we wanted to feature on TV for their annual BBC Children in Need (Scotland) appeal show, we were absolutely delighted and had to say YES! This was such a big occasion for Children’s Health Scotland that Bear couldn’t wait to celebrate this today!
Our Young Volunteer, Eve, and Corporate Services Coordinator, Beth, were invited to talk about our award-winning Self-Management Service alongside their dogs, Bear and Atlas, with Eve and Bear, wowing everyone with their incredible talent and skills for dog agility!
Eve and Beth were invited along to the live show on 18th November at the BBC studios in Glasgow, which was so very exciting! A Pudsey filled event, the night was hosted by Jackie Bird, and filled with music from Boyzlife and Brooke Combe. Bear even got to meet Pudsey which he was absolutely delighted with!
