The Right Care Right Place campaign aims to promote use of NHS 111 and general practice services for non-life threatening medical issues.
With continued pressures being felt across the system it’s important for the public to understand how to access the right care in the right place to help alleviate these pressures.
If you think you need A&E but it’s not critical or life-threatening, call NHS 24 on 111, day or night, or contact your General Practice.
For critical emergencies, such as a suspected heart attack, stroke, severe injury or excessive bleeding, call 999 or go to your local A&E.
