Hooray, it’s Playday 2022 (3 August). Coordinated in Scotland by our friends at Play Scotland, this year the theme is All to play for – building play opportunities for all children.
Health Information Week take place annually on 4 – 10 July and is a national, multi-sector campaign to promote high quality information for patients and the public. #HIW2022
This week we hosted a virtual Health-related Play Box Workshop with children from the Primary 1b class at Battlefield Primary School in Glasgow. The workshop was packed full of fun, health-related, and educational play activities and, despite the barriers caused by lockdown restrictions, demonstrated how much children are adaptable and enjoy learning through play.
A Scottish Parliament Committee has warned that more needs to be done to ensure that children and young people who need help with their mental health can access support at the earliest opportunity.
