This year Children’s Health Scotland is launching the first Scottish Children’s Health Week 2020 #feelinggood that will run from Monday 31 August to Sunday 6 September 2020. The aim of the week is to be a national celebration of children and young people’s health and wellbeing and their right to the best quality healthcare.

The Scottish Government has formed an advisory group on healthy body image for children and young people that will identify specific actions to help children and young people achieve a healthy body image.
New Transition Support Bill proposed by Johann Lamont MSP
A new Bill has been proposed by Johann Lamont MSP that is designed to improve outcomes for children and young people with a disability in the transition to adulthood. It aims to ensure every disabled child with an impairment or long-term health condition has a right to a Transition Plan.
