The Children’s Choice Award gives the opportunity for a young person to say “thank you” to someone special in their life; someone who has made a difference to their world. Dennis Hopkins, Headteacher at St Bridget’s Primary School in Kilbirnie, is this year’s winner after a pupil, undergoing cancer treatment, nominated him.

12-year-old Enoch is the children’s choice for a Scottish Children’s Health Award
Today we are pleased to announce Enoch Wisdom Membi as the winner of the Children’s Choice Award. Enoch’s story is captured below by journalist and TV Presenter Catriona Shearer.
Do you know a healthcare professional, someone special, who deserves a Scottish Children’s Health Award?
We are seeking very special people (or teams) who have made or are making the difference to the lives of children. We are also seeking children who have shown strength and determination and kept going with their treatment, when it might have been so much easier to give up.
Nominate today and recognise someone special who has made a difference to the life of a child
