Children’s Health Scotland’s work recognised in national publication
Last Sunday, Children’s Health Scotland was featured in an article published in The Sunday Post regarding the The Disabled Children and Young People (Transitions to Adulthood) (Scotland) Bill, which is designed to help people with learning or physical difficulties seamlessly make the move from one stage of their lives to the next.

Care Day is an annual international celebration of the Care Experienced community and this year it takes place today – Friday 21 February 2020. It exists to celebrate and champion all Care Experienced people and this year the theme is Reimagining.
New Transition Support Bill proposed by Johann Lamont MSP
A new Bill has been proposed by Johann Lamont MSP that is designed to improve outcomes for children and young people with a disability in the transition to adulthood. It aims to ensure every disabled child with an impairment or long-term health condition has a right to a Transition Plan.
