Our Special Smiles project team was delighted to welcome Chief Dental Officer (CDO) Margie Taylor to Castleview School in Stirling on March 15th. The children and staff eagerly showed her how they learnt about healthy eating, oral health care, and reducing anxiety about dental visits by using the dental play resources in the classroom.

Parental Access and Family Facilities Survey
Our Parental Access and Family Facilities Survey 2012-13 (1MB) Report was presented at a Reception at Scottish Parliament hosted by Alison McInnes MSP on 9th October. The Report describes the findings arising from 66 NHS wards.
Talking About My Health Condition
Our Stay Well Lanarkshire Project produced a new leaflet called Talking About My Health Condition aimed at young people with long term health conditions and healthcare and education professionals who work with them. The Project also produced a USB wristband which is available for young people with chronic conditions.
