We’re excited to launch Scottish Children’s Health Week 2026, taking place from 7–13 September!
This special celebration shines a spotlight on the health and wellbeing of children and young people across Scotland, defending their right to the best possible health.
This year is extra meaningful as we mark 50 years as a Scottish registered charity, and our week‑long celebration is packed with colour, creativity, and joyful learning. Each day has its own uplifting theme, and our brand‑new 24‑page Activity Book is filled with fun challenges, wellbeing ideas, puzzles, and creative activities for children, families, and schools to enjoy — at home, in classrooms, in hospitals, and in the community.
Printed copies of the Activity Book are available on request, so get ready to join the celebrations, explore your rights in playful ways, and help us make this anniversary year one to remember!
This year’s Activity Book is bursting with colour, creativity, and inspiration — featuring seven themed days that encourage children and young people to be active, brave, calm, happy, friendly, kind, and helpful.
From superhero rhythms and nature‑inspired adventures to star breathing, kindness chains, and creative challenges, each activity is designed to support emotional wellbeing and defend children’s health rights in a fun, accessible, and meaningful way.
Click on the days below to explore what’s happening throughout the week. Be sure to follow us on social media in the lead‑up to — and during — Scottish Children’s Health Week for daily highlights, ideas, and stories from across Scotland.
We’d love to see how you’re celebrating with us! Share your photos, creations, and reflections using #MyHealthMyRights and #BeMoreBear as we mark this special 50th anniversary year together.
